I have to repair Office 2003 on one of the production Citrix Presentation Servers today, oh joy.
Well the same problem is happening on another server. Exception EAccessViolation in module ntdll.dll at 0001A360. Crwap!
Things that didn't work so far:
1. Repair from add/remove
2. Remove Outlook componet from Office, reboot, then reinstall.
Currently removed Office, reboot, reinstalled Office, and now currently downloading 108MB SP3 for MSO2K3.
That didn't work. Time to visit Experts Exchange and see if there is a solution there.
Well that is on hold. Had to change the way a printer in Corona pulls sales tickets.
I started running into this same error on one of my Citrix servers after the last batch of MS updates were installed. In my case it pops up every time I close Explorer. Doesn't appear to be related to office in my case, though.
ReplyDeleteThis may not apply to your case, but I was able to track down my problem. Using ShellExView, I found an Explorer extension that was causing the problem. Disabling it and updating it fixed it for me.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the Explorer Extension? I will get ShellExView and see what that does.
ReplyDeleteFound out it was Shoretel Call Manager causing the hiccup. Ramoved and re-installed all is OK
